Carvajal: Courtois saved us against Getafe
Real Madrid player Danny Carvajal expressed his happiness with a 3-0 victory over Getafe on Saturday evening, in the 19th round of La Liga.
Carvajal said, during comments carried by the Spanish newspaper "Marca": "We have achieved an important victory, and we feel good feelings, we added 3 points in front of a very complicated opponent at his home, and we did a great job and deserved to win."
He added: "Thibaut Courtois kept us in the match, by tackling two or three balls in the first half, and the ball that Varane caused in the result gave us a lot."
And the Spanish player continued: "Courtois? No one, not even himself, doubts his potential, he is a great goalkeeper, and certainly helps us score more points."
On the absence of Ramos, he commented: "It is not usual for us, but we have a good group, and today Melitao played instead of him, and on another day it will be Nacho or Varane, in Real Madrid there are the best players, and anyone who plays shows his abilities."
He concluded by talking about the Super Cup: "We will play the championship with enthusiasm, it is a new and different competition, and we will play a difficult match against Valencia and we look forward to winning the title."
